PRIDE WEEK

RainbowHouse Wednesday 10 May 2023 >
Friday 19 May 2023

From May 10 to 19, the city of Brussels will be decked out in its most inclusive colors for Pride Week!
What is Pride Week? It is 10 days dedicated to debates, shows, exchanges and reflection on LGBTQIA+ issues. The focus is on the valorization, the inclusiveness and the visibility of these communities.
Reminder: the theme of this year’s Brussels Pride – Belgian & European Pride is “Protect the Protest”. Echoing an Amnesty International campaign, the theme aims to remind us of the importance of protests as a motor for change, which is still too often in jeopardy.
Members of the LGBTQIA+ community as well as their allies are invited to express themselves, ask questions, and entertain around gender identities, the issues of the LGBTQIA+ community and the theme of this year’s Pride. A variety of speakers will take the floor and come to meet you, whether they come from the world of activism, culture, art, sports, etc.
A creative and participative moment, the “sign workshop”, will offer the opportunity to prepare the march that will take place on the afternoon of May 20.

The detailed program of the week will be revealed very soon.

This event is organized by Rainbow Corporate and Pride, in cooperation with Les Grands Carmes and RainbowHouse.
Events will take place in other cultural venues in Brussels, but also in Flanders and Wallonia.
You will also find the program on the pride website (https://www.brusselspride.eu/en/home) and on our facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/RainbowCorporatePride)
