Opening exhibition & DJ Set // PrideFestival 2021

RainbowHouse Brussels
18:30 > 22:30
Thursday 01 July 2021

The PrideFestival opens under the vibrant and lively sounds of Rokia Bamba with the opening of the exhibition “The ̶c̶i̶s̶ family game” !

Victor Lacôte has launched a board game with befriended illustrators through the micro-publisher Lacotepetrie: a contemporary queer 7-family game called “The game of c̶i̶s̶ families”!

On the programme: queers, gender fuckers, non binaires …

What is the aim? To shake up the already established family schemes, so that the youngest people can identify with new emerging compositions: one-parent families, with two fathers, two mothers, without children or without people.

Come and discover these illustrations in large format at RainbowHouse Brussels.

Rokia Bamba is one of the first Belgian voices to speak, broadcast and comment on Hip-Hop music on free radio stations in Brussels. She soon dove into the musical diversity of the African continent and beyond, sharpening her ear and shaping her taste for the eclecticism of black music. Today, from her turntables, Rokia offers us music as a vector of a collective movement, as a battle cry, against the current of an industry that multiplies ephemeral musical segments.

Rokia Bamba sends shivers, awakens the senses and incites action.
