JAOUAD ALLOUL
Moroccan Belgian singer, performer & LGTB activist
Jaouads mission is to connect people through the arts & dialogue. Being a former pastry chef, drag-artist and The Voice of Flanders semi-finalist, he is currently working on his first album “#MESSIAS”, with multi-instrumentalist, producer and composer Aiko Devriendt (Boogie Belgique).
Their style is a combination of spontaneous and associative impulses, resulting in music that could be categorized as Soul, Pop, R&B and Gospel.
Together they searched & found the right combination of musicians to join them on stage and tell Jaouad’s story through music.
Jaouad is currently touring Flemish and Brussels schools with his monologue “Zeemeermin” (“Mermaid”). This way, he endeavors to give a voice to students struggling with their identity and to raise awareness for LGTBQ rights in Islam.
