Let your LGBQTI+ body vibrate in its true colours with TRE®
Centre Tour à Plomb13:00 > 16:00 Saturday 17 July 2021
This workshop at the Tour à Plomb is open to all LGBTQI+ people and is an ideal opportunity to discover TRE® and have a first experience learning 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 “𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐯𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬” 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐨𝐟𝐟 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐱𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐫 in these very challenging times of uncertainty for all of us.
Since the beginning of COVID19, mental health problems have increased dramatically around the world. These problems are even more pronounced in the LGBTQ+ community, as we face additional challenges, including increased stress due to the ever-present experience of social prejudice, violence, and rejection and exclusion. Many of us had already experienced symptoms of chronic stress, anxiety, insomnia, depression, exhaustion, chronic pain and post-traumatic stress. The health crisis has made these symptoms worse.
More than ever, the mental health of the LGBTQI+ community is compromised and we need more tools to take care of ourselves. TRE® is a powerful body-based tool for self-care to support mental, emotional and physical health and build resilience.
Practicing TRE® (Dr @davidberceli’s tension, stress and trauma release exercises) allows you to access “neurogenic vibrations” in an intentional way. A natural, innate “feature” of the body and a relaxation and stress release reflex common to all mammals, including humans.
Ready to take care of yourself in another you? Don’t be alone anymore. Come and vibrate with our community!
NOT NEED TO TALK ABOUT YOUR PERSONAL HISTORY: This is a workshop with theory and experiential practice.
Free but registration required: https://www.eventbrite.com/…/let-your-lgbtqi-body…
This workshop is organised in collaboration with and at the Tour à Plomb, as part of its Summer Academy.
