Colette – Screening // L-Festival
Cinema Aventure19:00 Sunday 24 November 2019
Join us this sunday evening for the cozy film projection of “Colette”, a biography that retraces the life of Gabrielle Sidonie Colette, one of France’s most famous (bisexual) international novelist.
Colette finds herself young in a marriage with d’Henry “Willy” Gauthier-Villars, a seductive and egocentric writer. Her creativity is blooming in an early 20th Paris when Willy takes profit of it by affirming he’s the author of “Claudine”, a serie of sensual tales that choc the literacy scene. But Colette liberates herself, she reappropriates her art and most importantly and loves freely beyond heteronormative frames.
